Ingredients

2 Oakdell Cage Free Eggs
1 3/4 all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon, divided
1/2 tsp apple pie spice
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature, divided
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup apple cider

Apple Cider Donuts Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray donut pans or muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and apple pie spice.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix together 10 tablespoons butter, brown sugar, and ¼ cup sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Mix in eggs one at a time and scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Mix in vanilla.
  3. Slowly mix in the flour mixture. Mix in apple cider. Place batter into a piping bag and pipe into donut pans. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  4. Melt remaining butter. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl. Brush butter on donut and dredge them in cinnamon sugar.
