3 Oakdell Cage Free Eggs
1 loaf French bread, cubed
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Pinch of salt
2 large bananas, sliced
2 1/2 cups whole milk
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Garnish with pecans, sliced bananas, and maple syrup (optional)

Bananas Foster French Toast Casserole Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter. Then stir in sugar, cream, cinnamon, and pecan (optional). Add banana slices and gently coat.
  2. Pour banana mixture into a greased 9x11 baking dish. Arrange bread cubes over the top.
  3. Whisk together Oakdell eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Pour over bread cubes. Refrigerate, covered overnight or at least two hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 F. Remove casserole from refrigerator while oven heats. Bake for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Invert to serve. Garnish with pecans and banana slices and drizzle with maple syrup (optional).
