7 Oakdell Cage Free Eggs
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp butter
1 cup diced ham
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
1 (17.30oz) box frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
Everything bagel seasoning

Breakfast Hand Pies Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, add 6 eggs, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Beat until mixed thoroughly.
  3. Add butter to a non-stick skillet over medium heat and let melt. Then add the egg mixture and move eggs around in the skillet as they cook to scramble until fully cooked. Turn off heat and stir in ham and cheese. Set aside.
  4. Make egg wash by putting the remaining egg and 1 teaspoon of water into a small bowl and beat with a fork.
  5. Cut pastry sheets into twelve 3x5” rectangles. Add the egg mixture to the center of 6 pastry sheets. Brush the borders with egg wash. Stretch the remaining pastry sheets and place on top. Press the sides together and crimp with a fork. Cut an “x” in the center to help release steam as they cook. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning. Bake for 20 minutes.
