1 Oakdell Omega-3 Brown Egg, beaten
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper

Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwich Directions

  1. In small nonstick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add egg, milk, salt and pepper and scramble. Set aside.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a fry pan over medium heat.
  3. Place grated or sliced cheese on bread.
  4. Add scrambled eggs evenly on top of cheese and place second piece of bread on top (butter-side up).
  5. Let cook 3 to 4 minutes or until golden.
  6. Flip sandwich to other side and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is toasty golden and cheese has melted.
