Holiday-Style Egg in Toast

6 Oakdell Omega-3 Brown Eggs
6 slices bread
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
garlic salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper
butter, for pan

Holiday-Style Egg in Toast Directions

  1. Use festive cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Leave cutout pieces in bread.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Oakdell eggs, cheese, milk, and chives. Season mixture with garlic salt and pepper.
  3. Place large skillet over medium heat. Spread bread with butter on each side. Add as many bread slices that will fit in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low then flip bread slices. Separate cutout and place in skillet. Pour egg mixture into each cutout shape. Cover skillet and cook until the egg is set, another 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove egg in toast from skillet and serve warm.
  5. Enjoy!
