1 Oakdell cage free egg |
1/2 cup butter, melted, divided |
1/2 cup flour |
12 hawaiian rolls, cut in half horizontally |
6 tbsp raspberry preserves |
12 slices deli turkey |
12 slices deli ham |
6 slices swiss chees, cut in half |
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce |
1/2 tsp soy sauce |
1 tbsp dijon mustard |
powdered sugar, for garnish if desired |
Monte Cristo Sliders Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add ¼ cup melted butter to the bottom of each cup in a muffin tin. Heat muffin tin in oven for 5 minutes to heat up and help fry the bottom of rolls.
- Place egg in a shallow bowl and beat. Place flour in a shallow bowl. Dip the bottoms of bottom half of rolls in beaten egg and then in flour. Place in buttered muffin tin and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and spread raspberry preserves on top of bottom rolls. Top with turkey, ham, and swiss cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix together remaining ¼ cup melted butter, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and dijon mustard. Spread inside and over the tops of sandwiches and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and garish with powdered sugar if desired.
