8 Oakdell Cage Free Egg |
2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided |
1 lb sausage |
2 lbs frozen hash browns |
1/2 cup whole milk |
1/2 tsp onion powder |
2 green onions, sliced |
Salt and pepper, to taste |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
Hash Brown Egg Bake Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°. Grease a 9"-x-13” pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil and cook sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Remove sausage. Add another 1 tablespoon of oil and cook hash browns and until crisp.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, and onion powder in a large bowl. Stir in green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Spread hash browns onto the bottom of the pan. Top with sausage and 1 cup of cheese. Pour egg mixture over the top and sprinkle on remaining cheese. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the eggs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
