1 Oakdell cage-free egg |
3 yellow squash, diced |
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup dehydrated minced onions |
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp pepper |
1 stick butter, melted |
2 sleeves butter crackers (such as Ritz) crushed |
Southern Squash Casserole Directions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x11 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- 2. Add cream of chicken, mayonnaise, sour cream, egg, minced onion, cheese, salt, and pepper to the pan; mix until smooth. Stir in the squash pieces.
- 3. Mix together the crushed crackers and melted butter. Add the crackers with butter on top of the squash mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes to brown the top
