Ingredients

3 Oakdell Cage-free eggs
salt and pepper, to taste
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons italian seasoning
1 8 oz can crescent rolls
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 slices cooked bacon

Bacon Egg + Cream Cheese Pinwheels Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place 3 eggs in a large skillet. Scramble theeggs by stirring them with a spatula as they cook over medium-high heat. Season them with salt and pepper, take off of heat and set aside.
  2. Place cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds to soften. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Lay down a piece of parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Roll out crescent rolls, keeping them in a 4x4 rectangle. Pinch the seams together.
  4. Top with cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the toppings, stopping one inch from one side of the rectangle. This will help the cream cheese from squeezing out when rolling up the pinwheel.
  5. Starting with the long side with cream cheese, tightly roll into a log. Cut into 12 slices and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
